AutoSkills (United Kingdom) in Norwich is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our modern workshop. You will service, diagnose and repair vehicles, and carry out MOT testing where qualified, maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair preferred.
• Proven experience within an automotive workshop.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good mechanical knowledge.
• Customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to develop your technical knowledge, including EV technology.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing and routine maintenance.
• Diagnosing vehicle faults and identifying additional repairs.
• Completing mechanical repairs to a high standard.
• Carrying out MOT testing where qualified.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and correctly.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship.
• Working efficiently to maximise productivity and bonus potential.
• Working as part of a professional and supportive workshop team.
• Ensuring vehicles are returned to customers in a safe and satisfactory condition.
