Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician or Mechanic in Sidcup, South East London. The role offers good pay, a relaxed working environment and progression opportunities.

You will work on a wide range of makes and models, with Monday–Friday, no weekends, and MOT Tester training provided. The workplace is an established independent garage with supportive staff and a friendly atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic.
• Strong mechanical knowledge is required.
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Experience working on different makes and models.
• Pride in workmanship and a reliable attitude.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintenance of vehicles.
• Mechanical repairs and diagnostics.
• Fault finding and fault correction.
• Brakes, suspension, steering and exhaust systems work.
• MOT preparation and repairs.
• Tyres and puncture repairs and air-conditioning servicing.
• Vehicle inspections and identifying additional work.
