Job summary

Hawk Hiring is seeking a skilled automotive technician for a full-time, permanent role in the Tonbridge area. You will service and repair multi-brand vehicles, diagnose faults, and support MOT prep in a modern, heated workshop with on-site parking.

You’ll work Monday to Friday 08:00–17:00 with one half-day Saturday per month; comprehensive training is provided, and the team offers a supportive environment, a pension scheme, and 28 days of holiday.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 (or equivalent) in light vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Experience in independent garages or dealership environments preferred.
• Confident with routine servicing, mechanical overhauls, and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, health checks, and maintenance on multi-brand vehicles.
• Perform core mechanical repairs including brakes, suspension, and steering components.
• Use modern diagnostic tools to isolate and resolve faults.
• Assist MOT preparation and complete repairs to first-time standards.
• Maintain clean bay standards and document work accurately.
