Hawk Hiring LTD in Ashford, Kent, is seeking an ambitious Service & Diagnostic Specialist, Vehicle Technician or Mechanic to join our busy main dealer workshop. You will carry out routine servicing, mechanical repairs, electronic fault diagnostics, and high-voltage EV/Hybrid maintenance across a wide range of modern vehicles.

The role offers a 30k–45k basic salary, uncapped monthly bonus potential, and 0 weekends, with on-site parking and tailor-made manufacturer training from Level 3/4

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or solid time-served) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• 1+ years of hands-on servicing, repairs or diagnostics.
• EV/Hybrid awareness is a bonus; Level 3/4 training provided if not certified.
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools.

Responsabilités

• Carry out routine servicing and mechanical repairs.
• Perform electronic fault diagnostics and high-voltage EV/Hybrid maintenance.
• Work across a modern mix of ICE, hybrid and EV vehicles.

Pay & Benefits

• Basic Salary: £30,000 – £45,000 basic per annum (Tailored salary scale starting from Service Tech through to Diagnostic Specialist)
• Bonus Potential: Uncapped monthly bonus structure (Technicians typically average an extra £300 – £600+ per month, reaching realistic £55k–£60k+ OTE)
• Hours & Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM — STRICTLY ZERO WEEKENDS (Enjoy every single weekend completely off)

Role Overview

You will carry out routine servicing, mechanical repairs, electronic fault diagnostics, and high-voltage EV/Hybrid maintenance across a massive range of popular modern vehicles.

Requirements

• Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or solid time-served workshop experience) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Experience: 1+ years of hands‑on experience in routine servicing, mechanical repairs, or electronic diagnostics.
• EV/Hybrid: High Voltage / EV awareness or qualification is a bonus, but full accredited Level 3 & Level 4 training will be provided if you are not yet certified.
• Mindset: Positive attitude, strong team spirit, and a drive to upskill into an advanced EV & Diagnostic Specialist.
• Essentials: Full UK driving licence & own hand tools.

• Base: Ashford area (Free secure on‑site parking)
• Road Links: Strategic location with excellent access via the M20, A20, and A28 corridors.
• Commutable From: Ashford, Maidstone, Folkestone, Canterbury, Tenterden, Sittingbourne, Faversham, and Hythe.
