Hawk Hiring is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician to join a long-established, manufacturer-owned automotive group in a professional dealership setting. You will undertake servicing, maintenance and diagnostics to high standards with access to ongoing manufacturer training and a strong benefits package.

The role offers a company car scheme with up to two cars, 22–26 days holiday, a competitive pension contribution and staff discounts. Training and clear progression paths are provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or above in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair required.
• Experience as Vehicle Technician or similar is preferred.
• Proven commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and perform first-time fixes where possible.
• Carry out vehicle health checks and provide video reports.
• Keep colleagues updated on job progress and maintain a clean workshop.
• Work safely and efficiently within the workshop.

About the role

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs, working to manufacturer standards and delivering a high level of workmanship.

You'll be responsible for:

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
• Completing first-time fixes wherever possible
• Carrying out vehicle health checks and video reports
• Keeping colleagues updated on job progress
• Working safely and efficiently within the workshop
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment

What we're looking for

You'll need:

• NVQ Level 2 or above in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or an equivalent qualification
• Experience working as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician or Motor Mechanic
• A full UK driving licence
• A professional approach and commitment to high-quality workmanship

MOT Tester qualification is an advantage, but not essential.

Experience with manufacturer brands is useful, but specific brand experience isn't essential. Full training and development are available.

Newly qualified technicians are also encouraged. We have opportunities for technicians looking to develop their skills and build a long-term career.
