Job summary

Reactive Recruitment is partnering with a major dealership group in Swindon to recruit a Vehicle Technician (Level 2 or 3). The role involves maintenance, servicing and fault-finding across a range of vehicles, with a focus on first-time fixes and adherence to brand standards.

The ideal candidate holds Level 2/3 City & Guilds or NVQ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair and a Full UK driving licence. There is a strong emphasis on attention to detail and customer service, with generous holiday

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points).
• Level 2 or 3 City & Guilds or NVQ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Main dealership experience is preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a range of vehicles.
• Diagnosing and resolving faults, in the workshop and on the road.
• Using up-to-date tools and systems to achieve first-time fixes.
• Working to brand and safety standards at all times.
• Maximising productivity through efficient use of workshop systems.
• Taking part in ongoing technical and brand-specific training.

Vehicle Technician package:

• Excellent starting salary of between £30-35,000 per annum depending on experience
• Approx. £10,000 per annum average bonus paid on top of the basic salary - very uncapped!
