Job summary

Drive Recruiting partners with a Swindon employer to recruit a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic for a full-time, permanent position.

You will work Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours weekly, with a fantastic bonus structure on top. A valid driving licence and NVQ/City & Guilds qualifications (Level 2/3) are required, with MOT qualification preferred to enhance the profile.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years industry experience.
• Good technical knowledge servicing and diagnostics.
• Level 3 or level 2 NVQ or City and Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of technical advice, service and maintenance to customers.
• Carry out servicing and diagnostics to manufacturer standards.
• Maintain a full valid driving licence and relevant qualifications.

Our client is currently looking to add a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join their fantastic team in Swindon.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To deliver high standards of technical advice, service and maintenance to all our customers.
• Have a full valid driving licence, an NVQ Level 2 or 3, City & Guilds or equivalent.
• Have a minimum of 2 years post apprentice experience in this role. Ideally, you'll also have an MOT testing qualification and some main dealership experience.
