Job description

Vehicle Technician – Lookers, BMW Stafford

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Lookers, BMW Stafford

Salary: OTE up to £41,230 (Uncapped); £34,000 basic plus £3,000 Productivity Bonus and uncapped Time Saved Bonus Scheme (dependent on level)

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm, 1 Saturday 8:30am – 12:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle health checks using the latest technology.
• Conduct vehicle service in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and customer requests.
• Perform authorized additional repairs.
• Carry out warranty repairs per manufacturer guidelines with completed write‑up.
• Take the customer’s vehicle on a road test to ensure faults are rectified.
• Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Motor industry experience (brand or non‑brand).
• Full and valid UK driving licence.
• Self‑motivated, supportive to team, ambitious, eager to learn, and able to maintain highest standards.
• Previous brand experience desirable but not essential; brand accreditation training provided.
• Diagnostic, MOT and EV experience desirable but not essential.
