Job summary

Ecosse Automotive Limited in Bo'ness invites applications for a Vehicle Technician. You will service, repair and maintain a range of vehicles, diagnosing faults and carrying out parts replacements to a high standard.

The role is full-time, permanent, 40 hours per week with a four-day week. The package includes a salary of £35,360–£38,480 per year and a focus on work-life balance. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience in a similar role.
• Level 3 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance is preferred but not essential.
• Good communication skills.
• Driving Licence.
• High standard of work.
• Own hand tools are preferred to perform duties.

Day to day duties

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance
• Repairing or replacing defective parts
• Diagnosis of faulty mechanical components

Who you are

You'll be a qualified vehicle technician, with the ability to service and repair a range of vehicles to a high standard. You will have good communication skills, have great motivation and take a pride in your work. We are looking for candidates with sufficient previous experience in a similar role. Ideally, we would like candidates to have a Level 3 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance, however, we would be willing to overlook this for the right experienced candidate.

The ideal candidate will have

• Previous experience within a similar role is essential
• Level 3 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance is preferred but not essential
• Passion for the role and a genuine interest in cars
• Driving Licence
• High standard of work
• Good communication skills
• Their own hand tools
