Job summary

Royal Mail is recruiting a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician at Walton-on-Thames Workshop on a permanent contract. You will perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles, trailers and equipment, using your own toolkit and workshop tooling.

You will work 39.5 hours per week on a rotating shift, with overtime contributing to earnings up to £55,000 per annum. A full UK driving licence (ideally HGV with trailer) is required, along with a proactive,

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 qualification in Light or Heavy vehicle or equivalent.
• Own toolkit for standard repairs.
• Full UK driving licence (manual), ideally HGV license with trailer experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repair procedures on a range of vehicles, trailers and equipment.
• Use personal toolkit for routine maintenance and repair of light/heavy goods vehicles.
• Access to specialist tooling and shared equipment in modern workshops.
