Job summary

Forge Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician with 3 years of experience in car servicing, maintenance and diagnostics to join a busy family-owned dealership in Greater London.

The role involves services, repairs, and maintenance on customer vehicles, including minor and major mechanical work, and will use advanced diagnostic equipment to fault-find. Hybrid/EV training is preferred and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• Experience in servicing and diagnostics of customer vehicles.
• Willing to participate in Manufacturing Accreditation programs.
• Ability to carry out road tests and vehicle health checks.

Responsibilities

• Carry out services, repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles, including minor and major mechanical work.
• Carry out road tests after work has been carried out.
• Use diagnostic equipment to fault-find items relevant to the franchise brand.
• Perform Vehicle Health Checks and keep the work area clean and safe.
