Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for our busy fleet workshop in Egham. You should hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, have strong servicing and repair experience, and hold a Full UK Driving Licence. LCV experience is helpful but not essential.

Role includes diagnosing faults, MOT preparation, and regular overtime paid at time and a half. A generous benefits package and ongoing technical development are offered.

Qualifications

• Level 3 LV Maintenance & Repair (essential).
• Experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Strong servicing, maintenance and repair skills.
• Electrical fault-finding experience.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair a varied fleet of cars and light commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carry out vehicle inspections and MOT preparation work.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults efficiently.
• Ensure vehicles remain safe, roadworthy and legally compliant.
