Job summary

Lookers Buckinghamshire JLR is seeking a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join its busy workshop. You will perform health checks using the latest technology, service vehicles, and carry out repairs as required, reporting to the Aftersales Manager.

The role offers flexible hours, including a 40-hour week with Saturday cover or a fixed 4-day week, and opportunities for career progression and hybrid training in Hybrid & Electric systems.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will hold a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or an equivalent qualification.
• A full and valid UK driving licence is required.
• Brand experience is desirable but not essential; brand accreditation training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles.
• Perform checks in line with manufacturers' guidelines and fit requested accessories.
• Inspect vehicle lights, tyres, and mechanical/electrical systems; report further work needed.
