Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician for a leading main dealer in Birkenhead. The role offers a competitive salary package, uncapped bonus potential, and overtime, with a total OTE over £46,000 and a supportive team.

You will perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems, using modern diagnostic equipment. NVQ Level 3 and a full UK driving licence are essential; MOT licence is advantageous.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical systems.
• Proficient with modern diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of vehicle systems and fault finding techniques.
• Teamwork and clear communication with colleagues and customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics to high standards.
• Identify faults and resolve issues efficiently.
• Work on electrical and mechanical systems, including testing and fault diagnosis.
• Replace and repair components to ensure safety and performance.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and advise on further work.
• Support workshop colleagues to achieve targets.
• Maintain detailed records of work completed.
