Job summary

SUEZ recycling and recovery UK is seeking a seasoned Vehicle Technician for our Preston workshop. You will maintain a fleet of vehicles, diagnose faults and prepare MOTs, working in a team focused on safety and quality.

Ideal candidates have HVG experience; NVQ/L3 in heavy goods vehicle maintenance preferred. HGV licences are an advantage but not required. Excellent working conditions and overtime options offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in servicing and repairing vehicles and equipment.
• Must inspect vehicles to DVSA standards or higher.
• HGV licence is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service, maintenance and repair of all types of vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify faults.
• Prepare and carry out MOT.
• Ensure Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices.

Education

NVQ level in Heavy Goods Vehicle maintenance
