Job summary
Octane Recruitment is recruiting for a Vehicle Technician role in Hereford with a strong basic salary and manufacturer-backed progression. The position offers a salary structure up to £45,800 depending on experience and accreditation, plus over-performance bonus and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications
- Level 3 Automotive qualification is required or equivalent.
- Current experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic is required.
- MOT licence is desirable but not essential.
- Own set of tools and Full UK driving licence are required.
- Strong mechanical and fault-finding ability and a professional approach to quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out servicing and routine maintenance.
- Mechanical repairs across a range of vehicle systems.
- Fault finding and diagnostic work depending on experience.
- Carrying out vehicle inspections and identifying additional work.
- Ensuring repairs are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Working towards strong first-time-fix standards.
- Completing all relevant job cards and workshop documentation.
- Maintaining manufacturer and dealership standards.
- Working closely with the wider workshop and aftersales team.
