Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician for multiple Nottingham locations. The role offers a salary up to £42,000 per year, a modern workshop, ongoing training and a supportive team.

The candidate should have at least 2 years of experience, Level 2 Automotive qualification and a full UK driving licence. Working hours are Monday to Friday 08:30–17:30, with Saturday mornings on a bi-weekly basis.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic.
• Level 2 Automotive qualification (minimum requirement).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and within a skilled team.
• Ambition to develop your career with ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs across a wide range of vehicles.
• Complete Vehicle Health Checks to a high standard.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently and accurately.
• Deliver a professional, customer‑focused service.
• Maintain workshop quality, safety and compliance standards.
