Job summary

Arnold Clark Group in Telford is seeking skilled mechanics to join our team. You will safely prepare customers' cars for the road, perform servicing and repairs, and work on vehicles from a range of manufacturers with the latest tech.

You will have a Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance certificate and a full driving licence. We offer flexible hours, EV accreditation training, private healthcare, generous leave, and a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3.
• Able to work independently or in a busy team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to work to high standards and deadlines.
• Proactive and enthusiastic approach.
• Follow written and spoken instructions precisely.
• Must hold a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance to high standards.
• Inspect engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues using diagnostic equipment.
• Repair or replace defective parts.
• Perform DVSA vehicle testing where authorised.
• Road test vehicles to check repairs.
• Maintain equipment and keep tools in good condition.
• Follow checklists to complete procedures.
• Complete all documentation to standard.
