Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a busy Wimbledon dealership workshop. You will perform servicing, health checks and fault diagnostics, with warranty work and precise reporting. Hybrid and Electric Vehicle training is available as part of ongoing development.

The role offers 40-hour weeks (Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm) with a 1-in-3 Saturday rota, a base salary of £31,000–£37,000 plus bonus, and an OTE up to £44,320 uncapped. Reference: 31728.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Experience as Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician or Mechanic.
• Full UK Driving Licence and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing to manufacturer standards.
• Complete vehicle health checks using diagnostic technology.
• Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical repairs.
• Complete warranty repairs and accurate technical reports.
• Road-test vehicles to confirm repairs are successful.
• Maintain job cards and workshop documentation.
• Collaborate with Aftersales to maintain workshop standards.
