Job summary

Exeter-based role with Acorn by Synergie, recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician for electrical installations and bespoke vehicle fit-outs. Role includes dash cameras, GPS trackers, tow bars and van conversions, with a focus on high-quality workmanship and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience as Vehicle Technician or similar role.
• Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems and diagnostics.
• Experience installing vehicle accessories and aftermarket equipment.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Knowledge of fleet vehicle compliance.
• Experience with van conversions or bespoke fit-outs.
• Electrical or automotive qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Install, test and commission vehicle electrical systems and accessories.
• Fit dash cameras, DVR systems, GPS trackers, reverse cameras, and parking sensors.
• Install vehicle towbars and associated wiring.
• Apply vehicle graphics, chevrons, and signage.
• Carry out van fit-outs, including racking, ply lining, and bespoke storage solutions.
• Diagnose and rectify installation-related issues.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant safety, quality, and industry standards.
• Complete job documentation accurately and maintain records of completed work.
