Job summary

Swansway Motor Group is seeking a dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our team and uphold top automotive service standards. You will perform routine servicing, pre-delivery checks, and diagnostics to ensure every vehicle is safe and road-ready.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in vehicle service and repair, at least 3 years’ experience in a franchised dealership, strong communication skills, and a valid driving licence for flexible duties across workshops and sites.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a Vehicle Technician, preferably within a franchised dealership.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical information clearly.
• A positive, can-do attitude and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine service works and pre-delivery inspections in line with manufacturer guidelines.
• Collaborate with the Workshop Controller to systematically work through assigned tasks.
• Communicate effectively with the front of house Service Advisor team to notify customers of any additional necessary repairs.
• Utilise diagnostic equipment to check service quality and perform road tests.
• Accurately completing all relevant service documentation and job cards, adhering to dealership and warranty requirements.
