Job summary

Swansway Motor Group in Bolton is seeking a dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our team and help keep customers safe on the road. You'll perform routine servicing, inspections and repairs to manufacturer standards.

Working closely with the Workshop Controller and Service Advisors, you will communicate findings and ensure accurate job cards. A proactive team player with a positive attitude will thrive here.

Qualifications

• L3 qualification in vehicle service and repair.
• Minimum 3 years as a Vehicle Technician.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Valid driving licence for flexible tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conducting routine service works and pre-delivery inspections in line with manufacturer guidelines.
• Collaborating with the Workshop Controller to systematically work through assigned tasks.
• Communicating effectively with the front of house Service Advisor team to notify customers of any additional necessary repairs.
• Utilising diagnostic equipment to check service quality and perform road tests.
• Accurately completing all relevant service documentation and job cards, adhering to dealership and warranty requirements.
