Job summary

Ambitions Personnel are currently recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a well-established independent garage in Nottinghamshire. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and professional team where quality workmanship and customer satisfaction are a top priority.

You will service, maintain and repair a wide range of vehicles, diagnose faults with equipment, and ensure all work and paperwork are completed to high standards.

Qualifications

• Diagnostic and fault-finding skills for a range of vehicles.
• Strong mechanical knowledge across vehicle makes and models.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and autonomously when required.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Level 2 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
• Diagnosing faults using diagnostic equipment and carrying out effective repairs.
• Completing mechanical, electrical and routine maintenance work to a high standard.
• Conducting vehicle health checks and identifying any additional repair requirements.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with manufacturer and workshop standards.
• Accurately completing job cards and workshop documentation.
• Working collaboratively with the wider workshop team to ensure excellent customer service and efficient turnaround times.
