Perfect Placement is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a reputable independent garage in Bedford. The role focuses on servicing, repairs and diagnostics within a busy workshop, delivering high-quality workmanship for a variety of vehicles.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous workshop experience is essential.
• Confident in timing belt and clutch replacements.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct servicing, maintenance, and repairs to a high standard.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults efficiently and accurately.
• Perform timing belt and clutch replacements with confidence as a Vehicle Technician.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and assist with general workshop repairs.
• Work on a diverse selection of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed safely and to manufacturer standards.
• Maintain high levels of workmanship and customer service.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure workshop productivity and quality.
