This role requires a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, plus a recognised Diagnostic Vehicle Technician qualification and full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
• Recognised Diagnostic Vehicle Technician qualification.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Previous experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician or manufacturer-trained Vehicle Technician.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Proactive team player with a willingness to support colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and rectify complex mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carry out advanced diagnostic, warranty, and repair work to manufacturer standards.
• Complete Hybrid and EV repairs where qualified.
• Utilise the latest diagnostic equipment and manufacturer software.
• Perform hydraulic and electrical repairs safely and efficiently.
• Support and mentor Apprentice Technicians where required.
• Ensure all work is completed accurately while maintaining high productivity and quality standards.
• Comply with manufacturer and health & safety regulations.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and workshop efficiency.
