Job summary
Auto Skills UK in Cardiff is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a busy main dealership workshop. You will carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs while developing your technical and diagnostic skills.
We require NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, at least 2 years of main dealer experience, own tools and a UK driving licence. MOT licence is desirable. Right to work in the UK with no sponsorship is needed.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair is required.
- At least 2 years' main dealer experience.
- MOT Licence desirable but not essential.
- Own tools and toolbox required.
- Full UK manual driving licence.
- Right to work in the UK with no sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and general vehicle repairs.
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently.
- Carrying out Vehicle Health Checks and CITNOW videos.
- Completing all work to a high standard of quality and efficiency.
- Following manufacturer and health & safety standards.
- Accurately documenting work in line with warranty guidelines.
- Providing professional advice and support to customers where required.
