Job summary

HP4 Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a busy dealership in Rugby. You will service, diagnose and repair vehicles, carrying out MOT preparations and maintaining high workshop standards.

The role requires strong mechanical and diagnostic skills, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to work well in a team in a fast-paced environment. This permanent position offers a salary up to £39,000 and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience as a vehicle technician or mechanic.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Experience servicing and repairing passenger vehicles; knowledge of diagnostics.
• Good attention to detail and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence.
• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine vehicle servicing and maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT and conduct general inspections.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults and repair.
• Complete repairs efficiently and accurately.
• Carry out brake, clutch, suspension, steering and exhaust repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed.
