Job summary

HP4 Recruitment Ltd in Rugby is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy workshop. The role involves servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, using diagnostic equipment, and delivering quality workmanship in a supportive team environment.

The ideal candidate will have NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, strong diagnostic skills and a full UK driving licence. MOT Tester licence is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• MOT Tester licence preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Complete vehicle health checks and identify any additional work required.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to manufacturer and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate job records and paperwork.
