Job summary

Octane Recruitment in Lincoln is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a well-established workshop. You will service and maintain vehicles, diagnose faults, and perform brake, suspension, and cambelt work, with accurate digital job cards.

The role offers strong support, structured development and clear progression for an ambitious technician, 45-hour week on a rota including weekends, with industry-leading pay and a generous benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year's workshop experience.
• Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Reliable work history with consistent attendance.
• Own a well-stocked toolbox suitable for workshop duties.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing and general maintenance.
• Diagnose faults and complete fault-finding tasks.
• Repair and replace brakes, suspension and clutch components.
• Perform cambelt replacements.
• Maintain accurate digital job card write-ups.
