Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician in Lincoln to join a well-established workshop. The role offers strong support, structured development and clear progression for an ambitious technician.

The responsibilities include servicing, diagnosing faults, repairing brakes, suspension and cambelts, with emphasis on accurate digital job card write-ups. Must have a minimum 1 year of workshop experience and Level 2 LV Maintenance & Repair.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year's workshop experience.
• Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Reliable work history with consistent attendance.
• Own a well-stocked toolbox suitable for workshop duties.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing and general maintenance.
• Diagnose faults and complete fault-finding tasks.
• Repair and replace brakes, suspension and clutch components.
• Perform cambelt replacements.
• Maintain accurate digital job card write-ups.
