Job summary

Halfords is hiring a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic in the UK. The role involves servicing, diagnostics and repairs with opportunities to tackle tasks like clutches and timing belt replacements as well as diagnostics across electrics and suspension systems.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing vehicle systems including brakes and suspension.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair vehicles and perform diagnostics as needed.
• Carry out more complex tasks such as clutches and timing belt replacements.
• Diagnose issues in electrics, steering, brakes and suspension systems.
