Job summary

Holt-Recruitment is seeking a Vehicle Technician for a busy Exeter service centre. You will service and repair vehicles, including clutches and timing belts, and perform diagnostics on electrical, brake, steering, and suspension systems.

The role offers a basic salary around £29,000–£34,000 with OTE, based on experience, plus an uncapped bonus scheme. Hours are 5 days, 44 hours per week, with generous leave and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Qualified to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent).
• Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience in diagnostic work (brakes, steering/suspension, engine) and more complex repair and replacements.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and repair/replacement work; can carry out more complex tasks such as clutches and timing belt replacements and diagnostics.
• Work with a workshop controller and team to ensure a smooth customer experience.
