Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our client’s Cirencester workshop. Working hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday with alternating Saturday mornings, in a permanent role.

You will diagnose faults, service and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards, maintain detailed records, and stay up to date with evolving vehicle technology. A minimum of three years’ experience and NVQ level 2/3 are preferred. Full UK driving licence required.

Qualifications

• At least three years’ experience working on light vehicles.
• NVQ level 2/3
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills across vehicle systems
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work well in a busy workshop

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs
• Perform diagnostics across vehicle systems
• Service, repair, and maintain vehicles to manufacturer standards
• Complete vehicle health checks with customer video presentations
• Advise on future maintenance or repairs
• Keep to allocated timeframes and record work
• Maintain clean, safe workshop and comply with health and safety
• Stay updated with vehicle technology through training
