Halliwell Jones (Chester) Ltd seeks a skilled Vehicle Technician to diagnose, repair and service BMW and MINI vehicles in our modern workshop in Chester. You will deliver workmanship of the highest standard and uphold the premium brand experience for every customer.

We offer strong training with BMW UK, official BMW certification, and a supportive, family-run culture with clear progression paths and an Employee Car Scheme.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Franchised dealership experience (BMW preferred).
• BMW HV3 or HV4 qualification advantageous but not essential.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with ISTA and Autologic diagnostic systems.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Your Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and service BMW and MINI vehicles to a high standard.
• Deliver a high level of workmanship in a premium automotive environment.
• Support customer satisfaction by maintaining quality and attention to detail.

What we're looking for

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience working as a technician within a franchised dealership (BMW experience preferred).
• BMW HV3 or 4 qualification, or equivalent experience, would be advantageous but is not essential
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with diagnostic systems (e.g., ISTA, Autologic).
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
• Passionate about automotive technology and the BMW and MINI brand.
• Professional, reliable and customer focused.
• Committed to continuous learning and development.
• Team oriented with a proactive and flexible approach.
• Full UK driving licence.
