Hawk Hiring in Clevedon is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our busy workshop team. You will perform servicing, diagnostics, and repairs to manufacturer standards in a stable, long-established dealership environment.

The role offers Monday–Friday hours, a salary of £34,000–£40,000, pension and free on-site parking, with opportunities to advance in a structured garage setting. A UK driving licence is required and NVQ/IMI Level 2 or 3 qualification is preferred.

Qualifications

• NVQ/IMI Level 2 or 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair with hands-on experience.
• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding ability and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing, routine maintenance, safety inspections, and mechanical repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Inspect and assess brakes, suspension, steering, exhausts, and lighting.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic software and equipment.
• Work with wet-belt engines and modern powertrains (advantageous but not essential).
• Maintain precise job cards and documentation while adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Your Role

As a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our Clevedon workshop, you will:

What You Need

• Licensing & Eligibility: Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK are essential.
