Hawk Hiring LTD in Andover is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our premier independent service team. You will perform routine servicing, mechanical repairs, diagnostics, and assist with MOT testing using modern diagnostic tools in a high-tech, supportive workshop.

The role requires NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds with 2+ years of hands-on experience, a full UK driving licence and your own tools. Full MOT training is provided, and weekends are not required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent with 2+ years hands-on garage experience.
• Full UK driving licence and own hand tools.
• MOT Tester licence (Class 4 & 7) or F-Gas cert (MOT training provided).
• Strong diagnostic problem-solving skills and pride in workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing and mechanical repairs.
• Conduct diagnostic fault-finding using multi-brand tools.
• Execute multi-point safety checks and report findings.
• Assist with MOT testing in a high-tech workshop.
• Maintain high safety standards and teamwork.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 basic per annum (transparently structured based on technical experience and skill level) + lucrative monthly productivity bonus
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Guaranteed consistent weekday hours with STRICTLY ZERO WEEKENDS)

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or City & Guilds / time‑served equivalent) with at least 2 years of hands‑on garage, workshop, or fast‑fit experience
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools
• Active Class 4 & 7 MOT Tester licence or F‑Gas certification is preferred (MOT training provided for suitable candidates)
