Job summary

Lithia UK offers a Vehicle Technician Apprentice role combining hands-on dealership work with structured training toward an IMI Level 3 qualification. You'll be mentored by experienced technicians and supported to become a fully qualified Vehicle Technician.

The program lasts 3 years with a Monday–Friday week, occasional weekend work, and is delivered through CALEX UK LTD across our network.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths, English and Science (minimum grade 4).
• Enthusiasm for learning and the automotive industry.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Learning to service vehicles, checking and maintaining them following clear instructions
• Learning to diagnose, repair and replace vehicle parts and components
• Carry out vehicle checks and inspections
• Produce time estimates for repairs and maintenance to vehicles
• Maintain repair and service records on the in-house computer system and for customers
