Job summary

Auto Skills UK is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician in Livingston to join a busy franchise workshop. You will service, diagnose, and repair vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently, with a focus on quality workmanship.

We offer a competitive salary up to £35,500 basic with potential to achieve £40,000 OTE, Monday–Friday hours with a 1-in-3 Saturday rota, and a clear path for development and progression in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (essential).
• At least 2 years' experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Own tools and toolbox required.
• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to high standards.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently.
• Follow manufacturer standards and documentation.
• Collaborate with workshop team to maximise productivity.
• Ensure health and safety guidelines are followed.
