West Mercia Police is seeking a Vehicle Technician to provide a prompt, efficient repair and maintenance service onsite, maximising vehicle availability for frontline operations.
You will complete all service documentation accurately and be involved in installing, maintaining, commissioning and decommissioning force radio systems and vehicle Telematics; external contract vehicles may also be supported.

The main purpose of the Vehicle Technician role is to deliver a prompt, efficient and effective vehicle repair and maintenance service, to maximise vehicle availability and reduce downtime for the vehicle end user.Complete all documentation relating to the vehicle service, maintenance and repair operation accurately and promptly, to assist with revenue and capital budget control.
Provide an installation, maintenance, commissioning and decommission service to include the fitting of force radio systems and vehicle Telematics. To work on external contract vehicles when required.
