Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician with a minimum of 2 years workshop experience to join our close knit team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be able to complete servicing jobs, clutches, cambelts etc etc No engine rebuilds. This role requires a commitment to delivering excellent customer service and a great work ethic, while ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.

Maintain and repair vehicles using hand tools and power tools, ensuring all equipment is functioning optimally.

Assist customers by providing clear explanations of repairs needed and offering exceptional service throughout their experience.

Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.

Level 2 or 3 certification

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively and safe

Previous experience in a similar role is required

About us

A family owned business with a team of 4 technicians inc a hands on owner. We look after local customer including businesses, offering servicing, mot’s and other jobs as required. We are open Monday - Friday. No weekends as we respect our employees family time.

Salary is experience dependent but we will pay the right money. We are seeking a technician due to retirement. We are a friendly team and there are no politics.

You will need a Full uk driving licence and your own tools.
