Job summary

Jago Consultants is assisting a reputable UK dealership in recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their service team.

You will carry out routine servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards, perform health checks, prep new and used vehicles, conduct warranty work, and handle diagnostics. The role requires City & Guilds Level 3 in motor vehicle repair and a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum City & Guilds Level 3 in motor vehicle repair or equivalent qualification.
• Valid driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and repairs to manufacturer’s standards.
• Complete vehicle health checks and report work accordingly.
• Complete New and Used vehicle preparation work.
• Complete manufacturer’s warranty work in accordance with guidelines.
• Carry out investigation/ diagnostic work.

As a Vehicle Technician:

• You will be hands-on, and willing to get involved in various tasks
• You will be enthusiastic, willing to learn
• Demonstrate a keen eye for attention to detail
• Be a good communicator, both verbally and written
• To be qualified to minimum level 3 City & Guilds in motor vehicle repair, or equivalent qualification
• To have a valid driving licence

Package:

Basic for Service Technician £30,000 and Master Technician £35,000 OTE £45,000
