Job summary

Perfect Placement are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our client's busy automotive service centre in Sudbury, Suffolk. The role offers a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday with one in three Saturdays, and a competitive salary.

You will diagnose, service, and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards, with strong diagnostic skills and NVQ Level 3. On target earnings can reach up to £52,480 with a £3,000 Productivity Bonus and Time Saved Bonus, plus ongoing training.

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

• Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle issues efficiently and accurately
• Carrying out vehicle servicing in accordance with manufacturer specifications
• Advising customers on necessary repairs and maintenance services
• Completing all work to a high standard and within scheduled timeframes
• Maintaining detailed records of service work and parts used
• Supporting team members to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business
• Adhering to health and safety guidelines and company policies

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Vehicle Technician or similar role
• Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Servicing and Repair or equivalent
• Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge of vehicle systems
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid UK driving licence
