Perfect Placement is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a reputable Main Dealer in St Helens, Merseyside. You will service and diagnose vehicles to manufacturer standards within a prestigious franchise, with a structured pay and progression path.

This role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm with a 1 in 3 Saturday morning rota, offering a competitive salary around £34,000 plus bonus potential and extensive benefits including company car and health cover.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within the motor industry.
• Full valid UK driving licence.
• Diagnostic equipment experience.
• MOT tester certification is advantageous.
• Brand-specific experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle health checks to identify faults
• Perform vehicle servicing in line with manufacturer standards
• Carry out additional repairs and troubleshooting
• Complete warranty repairs with adherence to dealership protocols
• Road test vehicles to verify fault rectification
• Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed accurately and to a high standard
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through professional service
