Job summary

Holt-Recruitment has a vacancy for a Vehicle Technician/Car Mechanic in St Albans. The role requires IMI/NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 qualifications, MOT tester certification, and experience in a dealership or independent garage.

Hybrid/EV training is welcome and training is provided where needed. The position offers a permanent, full-time schedule with a main dealership team, standard daytime hours (8am-5:30pm with an hour lunch) and uncapped bonuses; weekends are off and holiday

Qualifications

• Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or City & Guilds Level 3 Motor Vehicle Maintenance.

Vehicle Technician – St Albans - £35,000-£40,000- Main Dealership

• Monday- Friday
• NO Weekend work

Requirements for this Vehicle Technician role are:

• Qualified to IMI/NVQ level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair/ City and Guilds Level 3 Motor Vehicle Maintenance / Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair / Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair / City & Guilds Automotive
• Have experience working within a car dealership or an independent garage/ car supermarket
• Completed your MOT tester course class 1, 2, 4 or 7
• Experience of working on commercial vehicles/ LCV / cars
• Ideally Hybrid / EV trained but if not training will be provided

Key responsibilities for this Vehicle Technician role are:

• Undertake maintenance, service and repair activities on motor vehicles to the highest standard
• As a Vehicle Technician/Car Mechanic you will carry out all work completely and effectively
