Overview

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a family-run Independent Garage, located in South Ockendon, Essex. Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Duties

• Carrying out servicing and repairs to a variety of vehicles
• Carrying out timing chains and cambelts work
• MOT testing
• Performing diagnostic testing to identify vehicle faults
• Ensuring that paperwork is completed to a high standard

Requirements

• Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Current and valid UK driving licence
• Dedicated and committed approach
• Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work
• Own Vehicle Technician tools

Salary and Benefits

Benefits: Competitive basic salary up to £45,000 per annum. OTE £45,000. Company pension, 20 days holiday + bank holidays. A full-time permanent position.

Hours

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:00am–6:00pm, with alternate Saturday work. Saturday work is 8:00am–1:00pm.
