An established industry player is looking for a skilled Vehicle Maintenance Technician with expertise in repairs and servicing of light and large goods vehicles. This role requires a strong understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, and vehicle electrical systems, along with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a recognised qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, preferably in LGV vehicles, and hold an LGV Driving License. To be considered for this role, you will have experience in repairs, maintenance, and servicing of both light and Large Goods Vehicles to the required standard. You will also have experience in the repair and maintenance of pneumatic, hydraulic, and vehicle electrical/electronic systems. You will have knowledge of Road Transport for class 4, 5, 7, and LGV vehicles, including current road vehicle maintenance standards, and have a good understanding of vehicle diagnostic and repair techniques.
You must possess a recognised qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (preferably in LGV vehicles), NVQ level 3 or equivalent, and have an LGV Driving License – class “C” minimum. You should be able to work independently or within a team.
