We currently have PDI Technician and diagnostic positions available within a large, state-of-the-art, heated workshop based in Rotherham. This is for an automotive logistics business that operates 5 large preparation sites across the UK.

You will need to have PDI Technician / Service Technician experience to be successful in securing this position. We can offer an immediate start.

The Job: PDI Technician / Motor Mechanic / Vehicle Technician

1. Carrying out routine general servicing and mechanical repairs
2. Following PDI Process and Procedures in line with company standards
3. Carrying out tasks in line with your skills and the business requirements, maintaining high quality standards
4. Completing the final quality check on all vehicles before they proceed to MOT
5. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
6. Using all necessary tools and materials confidently, with experience or willingness to work in a high-volume modern body shop
7. Experience working for RAC or AA as a Vehicle Inspector is a plus
8. Background in PDI or mechanical vehicle repairs is essential
9. City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
10. Experience in vehicle repairs
11. MOT Tester license is advantageous but not essential
