Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd. is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician for our Ripon client. The role offers a supportive team environment within an independent workshop, with a 40-hour week and no weekend work.

You should be a qualified or partly qualified Vehicle Technician with experience in a busy workshop, capable of diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles. A full UK driving licence and own tools are required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Vehicle Technician or Partly qualified with relevant experience.
• Proven experience in a busy automotive workshop.
• Ability to carry out a full range of vehicle repairs and servicing.
• Strong understanding of diagnostic procedures and mechanical repairs.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Own set of tools.
• Reside within a reasonable distance of Ripon to commute easily.

Responsibilities

• Perform full vehicle servicing, inspections, and diagnostics.
• Carry out complex mechanical repairs efficiently and accurately.
• Guide and mentor less experienced Vehicle Technicians in the workshop.
• Complete prep work and ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Document repair processes and communicate findings effectively.
• Adhere to health and safety standards in all tasks undertaken.
