Job summary

Vertu Mercedes Benz of Reading is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join our team. The role offers a basic salary of £38,800 with an opportunity for an over-performance bonus and a £4,000 sign-on bonus paid in two instalments.

We are trialling Saturday and Sunday closures to give you more weekend time. Key benefits include comprehensive manufacturer training, career development, and a range of employee rewards.

Qualifications

• Formal automotive qualification at NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds.
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Own set of tools.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Mercedes-Benz experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality workmanship and achieve first-time fixes.
• Provide excellent customer service and support technicians in the workshop.

• A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Your own set of tools
• A full UK driving licence
• Experience working on Mercedes Benz would be beneficial but is not essential
