Job summary

A Repairs Specialist in Benfleet is looking for an Automotive Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic. The role offers a salary up to £44,000 per year and requires NVQ Level 3, a valid UK driving licence, and your own toolkit.

Hours are typically Monday to Friday, with no weekend work and a Christmas closure period. Weekend OT may be available for additional earnings.

Responsibilities

Job description

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a Repairs Specialist located in Benfleet.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

• Salary Circa: £44,000 p.a. (depending on what your experience is working with different gearboxes).
• Working hours are Monday – Friday: 8.00am-5.00pm or 9.00am-6.00pm.
• No weekends worked in this role!
• The business closes for 2 weeks over Christmas – you would use 3 days of your holiday allowance for Christmas however the owner gifts 5 days given to you to complete the 2 week period!
• Other Benefits: the availability to fix your own vehicles at weekends / over time available at weekends too.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
• MOT Testing
• Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
• Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards

Requirements:

• A Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence
• Dedicated and committed approach.

The salary of this role is up to £44000.
